A Philadelphia native, made his move and met with Miguel "MAMBO" DeLeon in the mid-80's to be in the group of first to bring Salsa/Mambo to the Kansas City area with his quality play and by all critics "The smoothes trumpet soloist of this time". Al's long history and love affair with Latin music around the world had him enjoying putting his talent to work with a 20 year musical affair with Miguel in groups as Sensación Caribe, MAMBO-X, and now with El Mambo Orquestra.
